Insurance Coverage for Sleep Baby Packages
Insurance Coverage
Many families are surprised to learn that Sleep Baby packages are often eligible for reimbursement through extended health benefit plans.
Our team consists of licensed mental health professionals, including Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Social Workers, allowing many of our services to be submitted to insurance providers under psychotherapy or social work benefits.
- Insurance Coverage
How Coverage Works
Depending on your insurance plan, our packages are frequently reimbursed at 90–100%, though coverage varies by provider and individual policy.
Following your appointments, you will receive receipts that can be submitted directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Parent or Child Billing Options
Depending on the focus of treatment and your insurance plan, services may be billed under:
- The parent/guardian
- The child
- A combination of both when clinically appropriate
We will work with you to determine the most appropriate billing arrangement based on the presenting concerns, treatment goals, and insurance requirements.
Why Insurance May Cover Sleep Support
Sleep challenges often impact more than just sleep. Our clinicians provide support related to:
- Infant and child sleep concerns
- Parent stress and burnout
- Perinatal and postpartum mental health
- Anxiety related to sleep and parenting
- Family adjustment and coping
- Behavioural and emotional factors affecting sleep
As regulated healthcare professionals, our work focuses on supporting the emotional, behavioural, and mental health factors that contribute to sleep difficulties.
We Recommend Checking Your Benefits
Every insurance plan is different. We encourage families to contact their provider and ask:
- Do I have coverage for a Registered Psychotherapist (RP)?
- Do I have coverage for a Registered Social Worker (RSW/MSW)?
- What is my annual coverage amount?
- What percentage of each session is reimbursed?
Important Note
Insurance reimbursement cannot be guaranteed, as coverage is determined solely by your individual benefits plan. However, many of our families receive significant reimbursement and often have the majority—or all—of their package covered through their extended health benefits.
